When registering to vote for the first time or when updating their existing voter registration, Arizona voters now have the ability to opt-in to receive a state-issued publicity pamphlet by email verses traditional snail mail. Voters must complete the entire voter registration process through ServiceArizona in order to sign up for the pamphlet and will receive a confirmation email indicating all registration preferences selected including their opt-in selection. Recorder
The County Recorder retains all important documents, records, maps, and surveys. Documents received by the Recorder's Office are assigned a docket and page number. They are entered, indexed in the computer, and microfilmed.Election Records
The Recorder also supplies and retains voter registration forms. As well as, assigning registration records to its proper precinct, preparing the voter list for candidates and political parties, and preparing voter rosters for the voting polls. The Recorder must also send quarterly registered voter by party reports to the Secretary of State.Document Availability

Payments
The Santa Cruz County Recorder's office is now accepting credit card payments in person or by phone. Visa credit cards can be accepted by phone, and all other card types can be accepted/swiped through the terminal in the office. If you would like to pay by phone, please call 520-375-7990 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. MST, Monday through Friday.Fees
All payments $0 - to $60 would have a flat $1.50 surcharge fee (Visa, Master Card, and Discover Credit) Visa Signature Debit would have a flat a flat $3.95 surcharge fee. All payments $61 and greater would be at a flat 2.49% surcharge fee. The Santa Cruz County Recorder's office does not receive any portion of the surcharge fee.Contact Us
